Developed in tandem with AFRL and RTX/BBN, TAK TALK is an AI-powered paradigm-shift for low-bandwidth voice chat. Translating 50+ languages in real-time, TAK TALK is 50x smaller and faster than traditional TAK voice implementations, and secures data within your network. 

TAK TALK uses three chained ML models for its speech-to-text-to-speech with translation pipeline, each of which has its own list of supported languages and criteria for support. Once downloaded and installed, any Android 14+ with at least 8GB RAM has full offline access to all of TAK TALK's language capabilities. TAK TALK is available today to anyone with a tak.gov account.
